Rhode Island Principals Committee on Athletics (RIPCOA)
Any student interested in trying out for a VARSITY SPORT must complete an Assumption of Risk form AND register for Athletics at Cole Middle School. Students that are planning on participating in an Intramural, Unified, or Club sport do NOT need to complete the Assumption of Risk form and do not need to register.
Registration for Winter Sports opens on November 4th and will close on November 15th at 3pm, please do not wait to sign up!
Go to Athletic Registration | East Greenwich Avengers (rschooltoday.com) to register for a winter sport. All Athletic registrations is on the egsd.net website under athletics if this site does not work directly for you
Boys/Girls Basketball will be offered this winter, when signing up please only sign up for Girls or Boys Middle School Basketball. The rest of sports are for High School Only

Please upload a physical within the last 13 months in order to try out, the AD will not accept any paper copies or email attachments

MS Assumption of Risk RIPCOA merged with RIIL, if you did not hand in one for the fall sports you must complete the new form in order to try out for the 2024/2025 school year. Please hand it in to the office prior to trying out. We will need the original and it must be notarized

Expect an email from the coach the weekend before the tryouts explaining time and date of tryouts

Tryouts will begin on November 18th, all necessary paperwork must be filled out online prior to tryouts.
